Steadman's Ancestory of Captain John Spann

Steadman suggests that Captain John Spann was the son of John (1667-after 1704) and had brothers Francis, William and Richard.

John is believed to be the son of Thomas (1637 - ) who came to Virginia with Richard Jones shortly before 1663 and settled near the present Norfolk County.

Thomas is believed to be the son of William (1612 - after 1665) of Great Mancot, Wales.

William is believed to be the son of Richard (1587 - before 1665) of Great Mancot, Harwarden, Wales.

Richard is believed to be the son of William (1562 - 1633) of Great Mancot, Hawarden, Wales.

William is believed to be the son of Richard (1538 - after 1594) of Great Mancot, Hawarden, Wales.

Richard is believed to be the son of Richard (1512 - after 1538) of Hawarden Parish, Wales.
